Flokk offers three tiers. All include a read replica, PgBouncer pooling, automatic failover, TLS encryption, and EU data residency.

Upgrading
Go to your database → Plan tab → select the new tier. Upgrades take effect immediately. Your data stays in place — no migration needed between Starter and Pro (same shared cluster).
Migrating to Dedicated
From the Plan tab, click Migrate to dedicated. Select your node size and storage. Your data is exported from the shared cluster and restored to a private cluster automatically. Your connection string stays the same — only the underlying infrastructure changes.
Typical migration time: under 5 minutes.
Dedicated node sizes
Dedicated clusters run on UpCloud Cloud Native nodes. You pick the size; PG parameters are auto-tuned to match.

Plus storage at €0.50/GB/mo (includes backups). You can resize the node later without downtime.
Downgrading
Downgrades between Starter and Pro apply at the end of the current billing period. Downgrading from Dedicated to a shared tier is not supported — contact support if needed.
